This equipment is intended to assess the electrical resistance and antistatic properties of footwear outsoles and sheet materials.
The machine is equipped with the following components:
– resistance measuring meter;
– resistance measuring board;
– copper contact plate;
– 5 mm steel balls;
– conductive lacquer.
The test piece (footwear) is filled with clean 5 mm steel balls, using a piece of insulating material to extend the height of the upper if necessary. The footwear is placed on a copper plate and then is applyed a suitable test voltage between the copper plate and the steel balls. The results are displayed on the LCD panel.
