This test equipment is applied to assess the resistance of steel midsole at repeated flexing, according to: EN ISO 20344:5.9; EN 12568; CSA Z195-02.
The testing machine is supplied with four workstations having each one a fixed clamp and a guide bar to move the free end of the insert at a specified distance at a rate of 16 ± 1 cycles per second.
The test specimen is fixed with the flexing line coincident with the edge of the metal clamps, and flexed during a number of cycles.
The flexing machine is equipped with a switch called ‘manual’ that enables the operator to put the test piece guide bar in lower position.
All moving parts requiring access are protected by a fully interlocked safety guard ensuring that the machine is conforms to the European latest safety regulations.
