This test device is intended to assess the coefficient of water vapour on leather and non-leather materials used for gloves production.
The test pieces are clamped over the opening of metal containers, which holds a certain volume of water for the duration of the test.
The water absorption of the test piece is determined by its difference in mass before and after the test.
The equipment is composed basically by the following components:
– one stand for the six containers;
– six circular metal containers according to the standard specifications;
– six upper rings fixed with three clamps each
